| 1. NO GOD MODING.
I can't stress this enough; I can't tell you how many RPGs I've seen flushed down the toilet because of God Moding. For those new to the scene, God Moding is basically making your character a god: impervious to attack, has control of Incredible Powers, and no matter how other characters try in battle, he doesn't take a scratch. If I feel that you have blatantly violated the Godmoding rule, you are subject for expulsion from the game.
2. Only Original Characters.
This is an game based in 18th century Japan; You wouldn't expect to see Tenchi or Ranma or Miaka running around. And no Kenshin characters either. :P
3. You are limited to 3 characters.
Three, count 'em, three. You can create as many NPC's as you want, but you can only officially play as three. If one of your characters die, you can replace them. Which brings us to our next rule....
4.Do not kill other player's characters without their permission.
This rule's obvious. How'd you like it if your character was walking along with his or her friends, minding their own business, when- BAM! A rogue ninja flies out and massacres everyone. Now, however common this was in Japan, we're not going to do it here. If you have discussed it over with their player, then fine.
5. This RPG is Yaoi/Yuri Friendly.
For those of you who don't know, Yaoi and Yuri are homosexual relationships between character, Yaoi being Male/Male, Yuri being Female/Female. Meaning SEX! Yes, Sex is allowed in this RPG... Up to Lime content. That means the actual act cannot be described, only suggested. So sorry, Ecchi fanboys! ^_^
6. The RPG's Rating:
R. Yes, I expect some of our players will like to get a little GORY. I mean, this was a very violent time in Japanese History. Also, with (Tasteful) Sex and Bad Language allowed, that boosts our rating up a bit, doesn't it? ^_^
7. Game Content
This game is open to all who are interested and can handle the subject matter. Some of you may be great writers, some may be hardcore roleplayers, and some may be new to the world of role playing. Try to get along with eachother. If you like to write long posts, write long posts. If most of your posts are one phrase long, That's okay too. If you have tons of spelling errors and aren't a very good roleplayer, don't worry, you'll get better. The main purpose of the game is NOT combat, though it plays a large, crucial role in the RPG. The main purpose is character-character interaction. So if that boats your float, give us a try! ^_^
8. Have Fun!
The main point of the RPG is to have Fun. Why else would you join? Of course, having fun means that the other people are having fun. So treat other players with respect! |
